The new Transformers movie, Rise of the Beasts, is chaotic and confusing. The plot is convoluted, the characters are underdeveloped, and the action scenes are over-the-top. But despite its flaws, the film is still strangely entertaining. The movie follows a group of Transformers who must team up to stop a powerful villain from unleashing an ancient evil. Along the way, they encounter humans who are also caught up in the conflict. The cast is led by Anthony Ramos as Noah, a young man who befriends a group of Autobots. Ramos is likable enough, but he needs to be given more to work with. The other human characters are even less developed.
